Celebrating Tuvalu’s 47th Independence Day | New York
The Permanent Representative of Tuvalu to the United Nations, H.E. Dr. Tapugao Falefou, hosted a lunch for the Mission staff to mark Tuvalu’s 47th Independence Day.
It was a moment to reflect on Tuvalu’s journey since 1978 and to celebrate the resilience, identity, and unity of our island nation. Over shared food and fellowship, the Mission family came together to honor the spirit of independence that continues to guide Tuvalu on the world stage.
Happy Independence Day, Tuvalu — 47 years strong. Fakafetai lasi.
