Tuvalu Strengthening Bilateral & Multilateral Ties

On the margins of #UNGA80, Tuvalu reaffirmed its strong ties with Switzerland. The Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr Pasuna Tuaga represented Tuvalu in a bilateral meeting.

The discussion underscored the importance of Tuvalu–Switzerland cooperation, including Tuvalu’s prospect of establishing its office in Geneva, and reflected our shared interest in building stronger partnerships.

Tuvalu values both its multilateral partnerships—working collectively on global challenges—and its bilateral relations, where close cooperation with partners like Switzerland amplifies Tuvalu’s voice and advances our national priorities.
