The Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to the United Nations Headquarters, New York City, welcomes young members and volunteers of the Order to apply for full-time unpaid internships. Interns are typically accepted for 3 month periods over the fall, winter and spring months. Chaired by Grand Master Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto, the Chapter General of the Sovereign Order of Malta was held in the Magistral Villa in Rome on 1 and 2 May.

The agreement of the Global Compact for Migration will be formally adopted by Member States at an Intergovernmental Conference, which will be held in Marrakesh, Morocco, on 10 and 11 December with a high level delegation of the Order of Malta present. The global compact for migration is the first, intergovernmentally negotiated agreement, prepared under the auspices of the United Nations, to cover all dimensions of international migration in a holistic and comprehensive manner.
