Meet the Interns

Friday, 22 June 2018

(Ann Catherine, Maria Consolata, Victoria)

Several times throughout the year we offer members and volunteers of the Order and selected University Students the chance to stay with us for a full-time 3 months internship.

Our interns come from all over the globe and play a vital role in supporting the Order’s work at the United Nations by:

  •  attending official UN meetings on behalf of the Order, including at the General Assembly and Security Council;
  •  writing reports on events / meetings
  • keep the Mission’s website and social media up to date

Currently with us are

Maria Consolata Spano
Maria Consolata is an Italian graduate student from the BA in War Studies at King’s College London. Her interests include both humanitarian affairs and security issues, such as migration, human trafficking, post-conflicts development, crisis management, peacekeeping and terrorism. Maria Consolata previously worked at the South African Human Rights Commission in South Africa and will study a MA at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva in International Affairs.

Victoria Cristina Pinter
Victoria is pursuing her B.A. at Duke University. She is majoring in Public Policy, with a minor in Economics. She is interested in exploring how governments can develop common agendas to promote global peace and prosperity.
