Hand Off Syria Coalition is planning a series of speaking events on Syria throughout USA during the month of December.  the keynote speaker for these events is Eva Bartlett, independent Canadian journalist who has done a significant amount of reporting from Syria and is directly coming from Aleppo to the U.S. to participate in our speaking tour.

Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari congratulated Antonio Guterres on his election as the next UN Secretary General.

Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari congratulated on Thursday  Mr.Antonio Guterres on his election as the next UN Secretary General.

The former Portuguese Prime Minister, 67, expressed his thanks to al-Jaafari and asked him to convey his greetings to Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem.

The Permanent Mission of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations, in cooperatiom with the Ministry of Tourism in Syria and the Syrian American Will Association (SAWA) organized a Photo Exhibition entitled "Unreported War on Syria's Tourist Sites" on Monday , 29th of June 2015 at the Curved Wall, Conference Building , 1st Floor, United Nations Head Quarters in New York. 

SG on UNDOF confirms that Israel supports the armed terrorist groups in the Syrian Golan

The report of the Secretary-General on UNDOF reconfirmed that Israel supports the armed terrorist groups in the Syrian Golan.  th SG stated in this report that "After the issuance of my previous report, UNDOF observed one occasion in November and several in January and February when armed individuals crossed the ceasefire line, approached the technical fence and at times interacted with israeli army across the ceasefire line in the vicinity of United Nations observation posts 51 and 54.
