Today the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Eldegdorj who is visiting New-York to attend the 70th session of the United Nations General assembly made a statement at the UN Summit on Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

Mongolia as a neutral state. I have long pondered about this issue. And I exchanged views on the matter. And had some studies done and conclusions drawn. Now the time to discuss it publicly has come.
On September 2, 2015, member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) Ms. Tsedevdamba OYUNGEREL visited American Museum of Natural History during her working visit to New York by attending the Fourth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.
On September 2, 2015, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia Mr. Z.Enkhbold, parliamentarians Mr. Su.Batbold and Ms. Ts.Oyungerel were invited to adopt an outcome document or declaration.
On September 2, 2015, Mongolian legislators headed by Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) Z.Enkhbold have attended in a ceremony of dedication of the commemorative plaque at the “Tree of Peace and Unity” marking the end of the Second World War in Asia and the Pacific, which was organized at United Nations Headquarters, New York City, U.S.
The opening remarks were delivered by Andrei Dapkiunas, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations and Saber Chowdhury, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
On September 1, 2015, during his participation at the IV World Conference of Speakers of Parliament being organized at United Nations Headquarters in New York City, the Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) Mr. Zandaakhuu ENKHBOLD held a meeting with Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (Vietnam).

On August 31, 2015, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) Z.Enkhbold has attended in the opening ceremony of the Fourth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament held at United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
This summit of Speakers of Parliament from across the world is a unique forum for dialogue and cooperation between parliaments at the highest level. The overall theme of the Conference will focus on peace, democracy, and development seen through the parliamentary lens.
