H.E. Mr. Purevsuren Lundeg, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with H.E. Erlan Abdyldaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, on 1 October during the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The two Foreign Ministers emphasized that the high level bilateral visits were significantly important in strengthening close cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on issues of expanding further relations and cooperation at the bilateral, regional and international levels.
Mr. Abdyldaev informed that Kyrgyzstan would introduce the Mongolian experience of the automated system at the upcoming Parliamentary election to be held on 4 October. He also briefed on the preparation of the election.
Having informed that Mongolia would chair the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in the year of 2016, Mr. L.Purevsuren proposed Kyrgyzstan to join the organization and cooperate within the framework of this organization.
