Minister Mikdad met with Eritrean counterpart Osman Saleh Mohammed, and they discussed the challenges facing developing countries and how to unite efforts to confront these challenges, especially in light of the tense international situation caused by Western countries.

For his part,minister Saleh expressed his country’s support for Syria’s efforts in combating terrorism and confronting unilateral coercive measures.

The two sides affirmed the necessity of building a multipolar world based on respect for international law, non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries and respect for their sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
