The Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York welcomed the New York-based diplomatic corps to the second annual photographic exhibition organized in association with the America-Sri Lanka Photographic Art Society of Los Angeles on 29 April 2025. The exhibition titled Beauty of Sri Lanka, showcased over 80 images displaying the natural beauty, wildlife, and rich historical, cultural heritage of Sri Lanka. It was a celebration of the beauty of Sri Lanka’s landscape and wildlife and served as a reminder of the power of visual storytelling.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, Vijitha Herath successfully concluded his visit to the 8^th Indian Ocean Conference (IOC), held from 16 to 17 February 2025 in Muscat, Oman. The conference, organized by the India Foundation in collaboration with the Government of Oman, centered on the theme "Voyages to New Horizons of Maritime Partnership".
