Agreement on Visa Exemption for the Nationals holding Diplomatic, Service or Official Passports signed between Sri Lanka and Ukraine

Ravinatha Aryasinha, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka and Vadym Prystaiko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine signed the “Agreement on Visa Exemption for the Nationals holding Diplomatic, Service or Official Passports” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 26th September 2019.

Foreign Secretary Aryasinha met with Foreign Minister Prystaiko on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly currently being held at the UN Headquarters in New York, to discuss bilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka and Ukraine. During the discussion, it was agreed that tourism and trade relations between the two countries would be enhanced. The signing of the “Agreement on Visa Exemption for the Nationals holding Diplomatic, Service or Official Passports” would further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries by facilitating and simplifying the travel of those holding diplomatic, service or official passports.
