Abu Dhabi, New York, 22 September 2014: At an event organized by the UAE Ministry of International Cooperation and Development (MICAD), HE Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, called for an intensification of the global campaign to eradicate polio.

The event, held under the banner ‘Polio Eradication: A Call to Action,’ was held on the sidelines of the 69^th session of General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. High-level representatives from international organizations, polio-affected countries, and donor countries and organizations were in attendance.
