Suriname ondersteunt resolutie Internationale dag van Interventionele Cardiologie

De permanente vertegenwoordiger van de Republiek Suriname bij de Verenigde Naties, ambassadeur Sunil Sitaldien, heeft namens Suriname gestemd om de ontwerpresolutie betreft Global Health and Foreign Policy te ondersteunen. Dit vond plaats op vrijdag 2 september 2022. Het hoofdthema van deze bijeenkomst was Internationale Dag voor Interventionele Cardiologie.

Suriname and Kazakhstan signed an agreement on exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports to facilitate the entry of citizens of their countries into the territory of respective countries.

In observance of the 48th Anniversary of the Independence of Suriname today the City of New York hosted, for the first time ever, a Suriname Flag Raising Ceremony in the Financial District in downtown Manhattan.
