Within the framework of the 20th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan heads of state and government as well as speakers of parliament of 20 countries, Foreign ministers and Deputy foreign ministers of more than 20 countries and representatives of about 30 international organizations attended the conference on “The policy of neutrality: international cooperation for peace, security and development” held in Ashgabat on 11-13 December, 2015.

In his opening remarks at the conference H.E. Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, stressed rapid development of Turkmenistan for the last 20 years since its announcement of permanent neutrality Turkmenistan as well as its contribution to international peace and security.

Special Envoy of the President of Mongolia and Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Mr. Jalbuu Choinkhor and Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkmenistan Mr. Badamdorj Batkhishig attended the conference and handed over a message from H.E. Mr. Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia.
