United Nations Welcome to the United Nations. It's your world.

欢迎光临 IAPR

Message From the Secretary-General His Excellency Mr Antonio Guterres

Patron of the IAPR

Every day, Permanent Representatives gather at the United Nations to discuss global solutions to global challenges.  At this time of both opportunity and test, international cooperation is more important than ever.  Collective action for the common good is the only path to building a better future for all.

The world’s Permanent Representatives are a diverse, dynamic and dedicated group, and the International Association plays an important role in forging the friendship, understanding and partnerships that are crucial for the success of their work.  It is an honour to work together as we strive to advance our shared goals of peace, sustainable development and human rights for all people, everywhere.

Message From The President Her Excellency Ms Katalin Annamária Bogyay

IAPR – there are more than thirty years behind these four letters under the United Nations auspices. In 1988, the founding Permanent Representatives established this Association with the indisputable aim to create an institutional forum to connect former and active Permanent Representatives and to foster professional and amicable relations and communication between them. It is a great honor for me to serve this noble Association as a President. I am insistently and persistently determined to build bridges across every kind of divide imaginable - between cultures, between countries, between religious faiths and civilizations, between governments and between peoples. The IAPR serves as an invisible, colorful bridge, which creates a strong bond between the past and the present, preserve and cherish the institutional knowledge, experience and cultural diversity. I believe diversity is a source of inspiration and not a burden. As a committed bridge builder it is a joy to serve this vibrant community. As the President of the IAPR I would like to dress the heritage of the last decades into a modern image to make the Association and our work behind the raised flags well-known for the people around the globe.
