Hon. Carl B. Greenidge, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana signs Code of Conduct towards Achieving a World Free Terrorism

A High-Level Special Event for signature of the Code of Conduct towards Achieving a World Free Terrorism was held on 28 September 2018 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This event was organized by Kazakhstan during the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations.

The Code of Conduct is intended to promote a global alliance of countries committed to prevent and fight against terrorism. It will also create the opportunity for the countries to strengthen cooperation with the United Nations to implement the recommendations of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy (GCTS) and United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy Review.

The Code of Conduct was signed by H.E Carl B. Greenidge, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and was presented to the organizers by Mr. Shiraz Mohamed, First Secretary within the Permanent Mission of Guyana to the United Nations.
