Ms. Maha Harqoos is a Third Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations since April 2018. She holds a master’s degree (Honours) in Diplomacy and international Affairs from Zayed University and graduated from Emirates Diplomatic Academy’s first batch (Saif bin Gobash Batch), where she obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in UAE Diplomacy and International Relations. Ms. Harqoos is also studying Mandarin Chinese where she completed HSK Level 2 in Chinese Language and is working to further her language studies.

Ms. Harqoos is the Election Officer and covers the Fifth Committee and General Assembly. Additionally, she is the Happiness Representative at the Mission where she engages with the Global Happiness Coalition.
