H.E. Mr. Munkh-Orgil Tsend, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with H.E. Mr. Jean Todt, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Road Safety, President of the International Federation of Automobiles, at the United Nations Headquarters on 21st September in the margins of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.  

Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil highlighted that the issue of road safety and incidents associated with it, becoming one of the new social challenges in Mongolia. Both Minister and Special Envoy exchanged views on a need for improving public awareness in law enforcement, safe driving, pedestrian’s behavior and etc.   

Furthermore, Minister delivered the letter of the Mongolian Association for Road Safety requesting to expand cooperation with International Federation of Automobiles and UN Road Safety Fund.
