FIJI HOLDS BILATERALS WITH VIETNAM AT 73RD UNGA

Fijian Prime Minister Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama held bilateral meeting with Vietnam’s Prime Minister Hon. Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the United Nations headquarters.

In their meeting, Prime Minster Bainimarama reaffirmed Fiji’s commitment to further strengthen relations through this meeting and taking Fiji and Vietnam’s partnership to a new level as both countries explore new areas for co-operation.

Prime Minster Bainimarama discussed with Prime Minister Phuc areas of cooperation that both countries can explore together, with the hope that through frequent political engagements like this, both countries will secure bilateral arrangements on areas of mutual interests for the benefit of both our peoples.

In response, Prime Minister Phuc thanked Fijian Prime Minister Bainimarama for the opportunity to meet and discuss certain areas of development.
