On 15 and 16 July 2014, UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, visited the Dominican Republic, accompanied by important representatives of the organization. During the two days of their stay, the distinguished visitor had the opportunity to network with representatives from both government and civil society.
The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. John W. Ashe, met today with H.E. Mr. Francisco Cortorreal, newly appointed Permanent Representative of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations.
All nationals of countries able to legally enter the European Union, the United States of America , Canada and Great Britain , can enter the territory of the Dominican Republic with the Tourist Card. (Order 691-07, dated December 18, 2007).
All foreigners who enter the Dominican Republic , with visa or tourist card must have their valid passport, unless there is agreement with the Dominican Republic .
