The First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Director of NCHR Akmal Saidov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov met with the UN Resident Coordinator for the Republic of Uzbekistan Helena Fraser and the UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan Matilda Dimovska via videoconference.

At the meeting, the state and prospects of interaction of Uzbekistan with the UN and its specialized agencies were discussed.

In addition, views were exchanged on holding videoconferences in June-September this year on “UN 75th Anniversary: A look into the future” and intensifying joint efforts within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
