Tuvalu Permanent Mission to the UN/Embassy Consular Services

The Tuvalu Permanent Mission to the United Nations is also the Embassy of Tuvalu to USA and Cuba. The Mission offers services for visitors to Tuvalu on travel and visa documentations and requirements, banking and currency briefs and flight services. For Tuvalu citizens in USA, the services comprise of visa briefs, passport renewals, marriage registration, legalization of documents, birth of a child and Tuvalu flights and more. Tuvalu Travel documents and Visa

When you have lost your Tuvalu passport or need a new passport you can contact the Tuvalu Missions/Embassies/High Commission and Honorary Consulates around the world by telephone or email for guidance.
New Tuvalu passports are only issued from capital - Funafuti. The Tuvalu Missions/Embassies/High Commission cannot issue new passports but they can extend the validity of a Tuvalu Passport to its second 5 year term. After 10 years validity - all Tuvalu passports have to be renewed.
 

Visa for Tuvalu

Visas are not required by any other nationals for stays in Tuvalu of up to 30 days. Entry permits for a maximum one-month stay are issued on arrival providing you have a valid passport (at least for 6 months from the date of arrival), sufficient funds, proof of accommodation and a return/onward ticket. For all Tuvalu visa related matters it is important that you contact the closest Tuvalu Mission/Embassy/High Commission and Honorary Consulates before you travel to Tuvalu.
