H.E. Mr. Tuafafa Latasi , Minister of Health, participated as one of the panelists at a side event held during the 58th Session of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD58).
The event, titled “A Healthier Future for Mothers: Small Island Developing States’ (SIDS) Commitment to Building Resilient Health Systems for Better Maternal Outcomes,” brought together representatives from various SIDS to share commitments and strategies to improve maternal health outcomes.
H.E. Mr. Tuafafa was the second speaker on the panel and delivered his remarks within a six-minute time slot, highlighting Tuvalu’s efforts and perspectives on strengthening maternal health systems.
