Tuvalu Speaks on Behalf of PSIDS on FfD4 Draft Outcome.
On 2 May 2025, the Permanent Representative of Tuvalu, in his capacity as Chair of the Pacific Small Island Developing States (PSIDS), delivered general remarks on the draft outcome document for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4).
The statement emphasized the pressing need for an outcome that responds to current global economic challenges, safeguards past international commitments, and addresses the structural vulnerabilities faced by SIDS.
As negotiations move forward, PSIDS remains fully committed to securing an outcome in Seville that is fair, inclusive, and reflective of the unique needs of small island nations.
