During the EarthX Congress of Conferences held in Dallas, Texas from 20–22 April 2026, Ambassador Tapugao Falefou participated in the high-level panel discussion, “The Pacific Agenda: Aligning Nations, Priorities and Partnerships.”
The session convened Permanent Representatives to the United Nations from Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, and Nauru, highlighting a unified regional vision anchored in the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent. Discussions focused on advancing the Pacific Resilience Facility, reforming climate finance architecture, safeguarding sovereignty, and strengthening ocean-based economic development.
The presence of the Prime Minister of Tonga underscored strong political commitment across the Pacific to collective action and strategic alignment on regional priorities.
