DPKO | DFS

As part of the work of the Departments of Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support (DPKO and DFS) to support new and emerging Troop Contributing Countries and strengthen their capacity to deploy well-trained and properly equipped peacekeepers, the Integrated Training Service (ITS) deployed a Mobile Training Team of three military training officers to Hanoi, Vietnam in October.

In the prestigious Descartes amphitheatre, Haitians from the diaspora, students, diplomats and NGO’s representatives gathered to talk about this mountainous island which is struggling to recover from many years of troubles and natural disasters.
