The Foreign Minister of Oman Mr. Yousef Bin Al-Alawi Bin Abdulla, met on Friday, 2 October, with the Secretary General and the two exchanged letters to acknowledge the voluntary contribution of USD $4.5 million by Oman to assist United Nations’ efforts in digitizing old video footage and audio archives.
In commemoration of the United Nations 70th anniversary and anticipated adoption of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, massive-scale projections of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) illuminated the north façade of the Secretariat building and west façade of the General Assembly building at UN Headquarters on Tuesday, 22 September 2015.
