UNPA to issue UN Free and Equal stamps promoting LGBT equality

On 5 February 2016, the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) will issue a set of six commemorative stamps to promote the UN Free & Equal campaign for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality. The new stamps were designed by Sergio Baradat of UNPA and mark the first time that the United Nations has issued stamps with an LGBT theme.

UN promotes post 2015 development agenda with massive-scale projections depicting new goals

In commemoration of the United Nations 70th anniversary and anticipated adoption of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, massive-scale projections of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) illuminated the north façade of the Secretariat building and west façade of the General Assembly building at UN Headquarters on Tuesday, 22 September 2015.
