On 1-2 February, UN is hosting ECOSOC Youth Forum which is discussing engagement and role of young people in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It will also address how the youth can best communicate on the Agenda, bringing on board the innovative use of social media and communication tools.

The Forum is attended by the Mongolian delegation led by Mr.Munkhtuvshin Gantulga, Head, Youth Development Division, Ministry of Population Development and Social Protection. Today, at the Interactive Discussion on “Setting the Stage: the Role of Youth in the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda" chaired by Mr. Ahmad Alhendawi, United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Youth, a Mongolian delegate Ms.Munkhtuul Batbaatar has shared experience of national youth development policies and foresights for the 2030 Agenda with representatives of member states, youth and civil society organizations.
