Mongolia deeply regrets that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea launched a ballistic missile on 6 February 2016 in violation of the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

This launch has a negative impact on the efforts of the international community to maintain international peace and security.

Mongolia reaffirms its firm position for the maintenance of peace and security in North-East Asia as well as for the promotion of international talks to that end.
