Representative of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Mongolia,Mr. Ralf Bredelhas presented his Credentials to the Foreign Minister of Mongolia, H.E. Mr. PurevsurenLundeg on Monday, 11 April 2016.

Following the ceremony of the presentation of the Credentials, H.E. Mr. PurevsurenLundeg had a meeting with Mr. Ralf Bredelexchanging views on cooperation between Government of Mongolia and UNIDO.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister stated that “State Industrial Policy” and “Law to support industrialization” have been passed and expressed his hopes for the support from UNIDO in the field of executing economic diversification policy and development of clusters of small and medium-sized enterprise sector. Furthermore, the Minister remarked that Mongolia has been included in the UNIDO’s regional project “Fostering inclusive and sustainable industrial development in the New Silk Road Economic Belt” since 2014 and discussed about advancing the cooperation with UNIDO in developing Mongolian industry.
