On 2 November, 2015 H.E. Mr. Sukhbold Sukhee, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations delivered a statement at the Second Committee of the 70th Session of the UNGA on agriculture development, food security and nutrition.

While emphasizing that the Sustainable Development Goals were designed to end all forms of hunger and malnutrition by 2030, making sure all people had access to sufficient and nutritious food, Ambassador S.Sukhbold stressed the importance of SDG 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.  

Ambassador S.Sukhbold noted that the Government of Mongolia had attached high priority to achieve agriculture development and food security. He further explained policies and activities undertaken by the Government in this area.
