On 21st September 2016, H.E. Mr. Elbegdorj Tsahia, President of Mongolia took part in the High-Level Event on Early into Force of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change hosted by Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations and presented the instrument of ratification the historical Paris Agreement on Climate Change.   

It confirms that total number of countries ratified the Paris Agreement reached to 60, totaling 47,5% green house gas emissions. This brings to high hope that Paris Agreement may ensure the Entry into Force before the end of 2016.
