On 13 November 2015, Mr. Sukhee SUKHBOLD presented to Mr. Achim Steiner, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Credentials appointing him as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations Environment Programme.

Following the ceremony of the presentation of the Credentials, Mr.Achim Steiner had a brief welcoming meeting with H.E.Mr.Sukhee SUKHBOLD.

During the meeting, they have expressed their satisfaction on bilateral cooperation between UNEP and Mongolia in the recent years, in particular on Mongolia’s initiative on promoting green strategy. Also they have shared views on upcoming COP 21 in Paris and stressed the need for full and firm commitments from all member states in order to ensure successful implementation of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
