The 6th Committee started its first meeting of the seventieth General Assembly session on 12 October 2015. Ambassador, Permanent Representative S.Sukhbold delivered a statement in the 6th committee general debate. In his statement H.E. S.Sukhbold pointed out that Mongolia sees the international terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, committed by whomsoever, wherever and for whatever purposes as a threat to international peace and security, the acts of terrorism can not never be justified under any circumstances. He informed the committee about the measures made by Mongolia to  strengthen its counter-terrorism legislation and to increase counter-terrorism capabilities.

Ambassador, Permanent Representative S.Sukhbold also reiterated that Member states should take more active and concrete steps to fulfill UN Security Council Resolutions on international efforts on countering terrorism, and actively participate and collaborate in the ways of intensifying and accelerating the exchange of operational information regarding traffic in arms, and to enhance coordination of efforts at national, regional and international levels.
