НҮБ-ын Ерөнхий Ассамблейн 80 дугаар чуулганы 2026 оны 6 дугаар сарын 2-ны өдрийн Бүгд хуралдааны үеэр НҮБ-ын Ерөнхий Ассамблейн 81 дүгээр чуулганы дарга, орлогч дарга, хороодын дарга нар болон Товчоодын гишүүдийн сонгууль тус тус болов.

НҮБ-ын Ерөнхий Ассамблейн 81 дүгээр чуулганы даргаар Бүгд Найрамдах Бангладеш Ард Улсын Гадаад хэргийн сайд Др. Халилур Рахман сонгогдсон бөгөөд тэрбээр НҮБ-ын дараагийн Ерөнхий нарийн бичгийн даргыг сонгон шалгаруулах, НҮБ- 80 шинэчлэлийг хэрэгжүүлэх чухал цаг үед ажиллана.

Мөн тус хуралдаанаар НҮБ-ын Ерөнхий Ассамблейн 81 дүгээр чуулганы 15 орлогч дарга нарыг сонгосон бөгөөд Монгол Улсаас НҮБ-ын дэргэд суугаа Байнгын төлөөлөгч Н.Анхбаяр нэгээр нь сонгогдов.  

НҮБ-ын Ерөнхий Ассамблейн орлогч дарга нь Ерөнхий Ассамблейн даргын үйл ажиллагаанд дэмжлэг үзүүлэх, зохих хуралдааныг даргалах, чуулганы ажлын хэвийн, үр дүнтэй үйл явцыг хангахад хувь нэмэр оруулах чиг үүрэгтэй. Монгол Улс Ерөнхий Ассамблейн орлогч даргаар сонгогдсоноор НҮБ-ын үйл ажиллагаанд идэвхтэй оролцож, олон талт хамтын ажиллагаа, олон улсын эрх зүй, энх тайван, тогтвортой хөгжлийг дэмжих, хүний эрхийг хамгаалах чиглэлээр баримталж ирсэн байр сууриа үргэлжлүүлэн ахиулах боломж дээшилж байна.

PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE H.E. MR. ANKHBAYAR NYAMDORJ ELECTED

VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE 81ST SESSION OF THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY

During the plenary meeting of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held on 2 June 2026, elections were conducted for the President and Vice-Presidents of the 81st session of the General Assembly, as well as for the Chairs of the Main Committees and members of the bureau.

H.E. Dr. Khalilur Rahman of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was elected President of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. He will assume this important responsibility at a critical juncture for the Organization, as the United Nations prepares for the selection of its next Secretary-General and advances the implementation of the UN80 reform agenda.

At the meeting, the General Assembly elected the 15 Vice-Presidents of its 81st session. H.E. Mr. Nyamdorj Ankhbayar, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations, was elected as one of the Vice-Presidents.

The Vice-President of the General Assembly assists the President in carrying out his or her responsibilities, presides over meetings as required, and contributes to ensuring the smooth and effective conduct of the work of the General Assembly. Mongolia's election to this position will further enhance its active engagement in the work of the United Nations and provide additional opportunities to advance the country's longstanding commitment to multilateral cooperation, international law, peace, sustainable development, and the promotion and protection of human rights.
