• Lawyer and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya,

• Immediate former Head of the Presidential Secretariat on the South Sudan Peace Process domiciled at the State Department for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya,

• Has twenty (20) years’ experience in the social development, human rights and governance in Kenya, Somalia and the East African region; in addition to fifteen (15) years dedicated experience in the non-governmental sector,

• Vast experience in law-making, policy-development and development planning at the national and sub-national levels in Kenya,

• Served as Advisor on Climate Change and team lead for Kenya’s participation in the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN), Africa Climate Summit (ACS) and the 28th Conference of Parties,

• Programme Manager, UNDP Kenya

• Holds Master of Laws (LLM) in International Development Law and Human Rights – University of Warwick (UK) and is Married with four children
