H.E. Mr. Josep Bosch, Ambassador of Spain to Jamaica (background), observes as Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (foreground), signed the condolence book at the New Kingston-based Embassy of Spain, on Monday, August 21.

The Minister extended sincere condolences on behalf of the government and people of Jamaica, following the Thursday, August 17 van attack on Barcelona's Las Ramblas promenade, which to date has taken 15 lives.

“Our prayers are also with the families of the victims of such a horrific crime, as Jamaica stands with Spain and other democratic nations against terror,” Minister Johnson Smith stated.
