30 June 2017, New York – The Philippines and Burundi signed today a Joint Communique establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.  Philippine Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr, singed for the Philippines, while Burundi Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Albert Shingiro, signed for Burundi.  END
