The International Youth Organization (OIJ), 'Organismo Internacional de Juventud’ in Spanish, is an Intergubernamental Organization aimed at promoting the active participation of young people in the development of their countries and the improvement of the quality of life of the youth. The OIJ works to encourage youth leadership and to provide young people with opportunities to develop their skills and contribute to their communities through various programs and initiatives.
