PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PLANNED FOR JUNE 26
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Standing Committee on State Structure backed a parliamentary resolution on designating the date for the upcoming Presidential Election. The resolution suggests that voters in Mongolia will cast their ballots in the Presidential election on June 26, 2017. The parliament passed the resolution on the designed election date on Thursday’s plenary meeting. Mongolian nationals living outside the country will register their votes on June 10 and 11.

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION EXPECTED ON JUNE 26
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Standing Committee on State Structure backed the parliamentary resolution on designating the date of the upcoming Presidential Election. The resolution suggests that voters in Mongolia will cast their ballots in the Presidential election on June 26, 2017. The Mongolian nationals, living outside the country, would register their votes on June 10 and 11. The decision will be legitimized after the approval by the State Great Khural.

AUDITOR GENERAL OF MONGOLIA APPOINTED
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During its session today, the Parliament discussed the appointment of new Auditor General of Mongolia who heads Mongolian National Audit Office, and approved of the proposed candidate D.Khurelbaatar who was nominated for the job in connection with Auditor General A.Zangad’s request to be released from his duties.
A new era of trade cooperation between China, Mongolia and the Russian Federation was opened in Moscow on 8 December 2016, when the governments of the three countries signed the Intergovernmental Agreement on International Road Transport along the Asian Highway Network.
By signing the Agreement, each country agreed to give the other two countries traffic rights for international road transport operation on the parts of Asian Highway routes AH3 and AH 4 connecting their respective territories.
