Ambassador Michael Ten-Pow accredited as Permanent Representative of Guyana to the United Nations
Ambassador Rudolph Michael Ten-Pow was today accredited as the Permanent Representative and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Guyana to the United Nations. Ambassador Ten-Pow presented his letters of credence to Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, in a ceremony at United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Mr. Kevin Quirk (second from right), new President of the International Federation of Translators, paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Michael Ten-Pow, who is himself a former Chief of the United Nations English Translation Service, on 28 September 2017. Mr Quirk was accompanied by Ms. Alison Lucre Rodriguez (second from left), Vice-President of the Federation, and by Dr. Henry Liu (right), immediate past President.
Mr. Haimwant Persaud, Manager of the Geospatial Management Unit in the Ministry of Natural Resources of Guyana, and Ms. Karen Anthony, Head of the Geographic Information Systems Section in the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission, meeting over a working lunch with Ambassador Michael Ten-Pow and staff of the Permanent Mission on the margins of the Seventh Session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management, held at United Nations Headquarters, New York, from 2-4 August 2017.
