NAWAL'S CONCERT AT THE KENNEDY CENTER
Nawal performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on February 28th 2009 during the Arabesque festival. Known as the “Voice of Comoros," Nawal is also the first Comoran woman singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist to give performances at the Kennedy Center. Her music style is a mixture of an acoustic roots-based fusion and compelling and beautifull lyrics in a wave of rhythmical sound of her mother land.
