Damascus, SANA – Syria demanded on Thursday that the international community take serious action to curb the terrorist practices of the Israeli government.
An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry called in a statement to SANA on the international community to take a “serious” stand to terminate the Israeli “orgy” of terrorist acts which menace the security and stability of the region.
Damascus, SANA – Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Sunday addressed two identical letters to the UN Secretary General and Chairman of the UN Security Council on the Israeli aggression on the Syrian soil.
The messages read that Israel has committed a heinous crime against the sovereignty of Syria as Israeli warplanes attacked two safe areas in al-Dimas and near Damascus International Airport in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage in a number of institutions there.
Tehran, SANA- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday discussed with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem the terrorism facing the region.
President Rouhani said that those who established the terrorist organizations and supported them must stop this, indicating that Syria is able to face terrorism through the steadfastness of its people and army.
He stressed that his country has always stood by Syria and it will continue to support it.
DamascuSANA – President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday received the special envoy for the Russian President, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and the accompanying delegation.
Bogdanov relayed an oral message from Russian President Vladimir Putin on bilateral relations, the standing cooperation between the two friendly countries, and Russia’s continuing support for the Syrian people in the face of the vicious terrorist attack targeting it.
