OIC EXPRESS COMMITMENT TO ENSURE SUCCESS OF SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES PEACE PROCESS

27 May 2011 Bali, Indonesia - The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) reiterated its commitment to the achievement of just and lasting peace in the Southern Philippines during a meeting with Philippine Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Jose S. Brillantes at the sidelines of the 16th Ministerial Conference and Commemorative Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement here. Mr. Abdullah A. Alim(right), Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs of the OIC conveyed the OIC's commitment to Undersecretary Brillantes who welcomed the most recent pronouncement of commitment from the OIC.
