ESTABLISHMENT OF TIES. The Philippines formally established diplomatic relations with Antigua and Barbuda  in ceremonies at the Philippine Center in New York on Friday, 16 July 2010. Ashe, Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda to the United Nations, shake hands following the signing of the joint communique establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries..
