Tuvalu’s voice was heard at the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) on the margins of UNGA80.
Hon. Paulson Panapa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labour and Trade, reaffirmed Tuvalu’s call for stronger climate action, resilience building, and adaptation support for vulnerable nations. He stressed the value of indigenous knowledge in shaping adaptation planning and urged for faster delivery of commitments on the ground.
“Tuvalu remains structurally fragile. But with resilience, unity, and tangible action, we can secure a safer future for our people and the Commonwealth family,” Minister Panapa stated.
The CFAMM remains a vital platform for small island states to ensure their perspectives guide global climate and development responses.
