Mr. Mustafa Abuali Ahmed Mohammed
Mustafa Abu Ali, Diplomat at Sudan Permanent Mission to the United Nations; Persuasive communicator with strengths in negotiating agreements and managing public opinion. Adept at strengthening and enhancing relations between countries. His career in public service started with NGOs, then government and INGOs and UN over 15 years’ experience in politics, policy and research, a track record in leadership and innovation; carrying with him a political, developmental and humanitarian portfolios, including working in partnership with several UN projects and Donor representatives and Fundraising Professionals. Since he was a chief of staff of the Governor of Kassala State, and as assistant to the National Expert for the (IDPs) settlement; Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. He is committed, creative and passionate about making a lasting difference for development and peace-building in humanitarian context. he was Executive Director at the office of the Rapporteur of the Joint Committee for Implementation of Eastern Sudan Peace Agreement, and he worked for IOM as Consultant then UNDP- Sudan Liaison Officer supported the Government to hold the Eastern Sudan International Donors and Investment Conference took place in Kuwait - Dec. 2010 which implemented under the Presidency and accomplished the daunting task of mobilizing $ 3.5 billion for supporting development, consolidating the peace agreement and strategy of the war affected areas and communities in Eastern-Sudan. Then he provided logistics support to the preparation of the International Donors Conference on Darfur in Doha- Qatar. he is a graduate of Gezira University, Faculty of Science and Technology, and did other Diplomas; such as Disaster Management from University of Khartoum-Sudan, Certificate Diploma of International Programme on Environmental Management in Small and Medium Enterprises, Hyderabad-India. also International Programme Certificate, Multi-Regional Project of “State and Local Government", International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), Washington-USA.
