While I was working in Sudan Embassy in Nairobi, I wrote several articles on Sudanese and Kenyan issues in the Kenyan newspapers (Nation, the Standard, People, Kenya Times, and the Star etc.).I continued to write articles in the Kenyan newspapers after I left Kenya.
1994: B.Sc. Hon. in Political Science from the University of Khartoum, Faculty of Economic and Social Studies.
1985 – 1989: El-Damazeen Secondary School, Blue Nile State, Sudan.
Medium and Short term courses:
1995 – 1996: Diploma in Diplomatic Studies from the National Centre for Diplomatic Studies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khartoum.
1999: 5- week course for junior diplomats at Turkey and Middle East Public Administration Institute (TODAIE), Ankara, Turkey.
2005: 5- week course for Sudanese diplomats at the Egyptian Diplomatic Centre, Cairo, Egypt.
1994 – 1995: Assistant Finance collector, Ministry of Finance, Blue Nile State, El-Damazeen, Sudan.
October 1995: joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Third Secretary.
1995 -2000: Third Secretary in the departments of European Affairs, Consular Affairs, Protocol at the (MFA), Khartoum.
August 2000- September 2004: Second Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission, Sudan Embassy Bucharest, Romania.
October 2004- June 2007: First Secretary, Department of American Affairs, MFA, Khartoum.
July 2007- December 2011: Counsellor and Minister Plenipotentiary at Sudan Embassy, Nairobi, Kenya.
January 2012-June 2013: Minister Plenipotentiary at American Affairs Department, MFA.
June 2013-June 2016: Ambassador and deputy head of Mission –Sudan Embassy –Juba -South Sudan.
June 2016 - Present: Ambassador and deputy head of Mission –Sudan Embassy –Juba -South Sudan.
