Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the UN bids farewell to his colleagues in New York

Dr. Rohan Perera, Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations hosted a farewell reception for Permanent Representatives and senior officials of the United Nations in New York on 17th June 2019.

Speaking to the guests at the reception, Dr. Perera outlined the mandate he had received on his appointment as PRUN - to reinvigorate and strengthen the relationship with the United Nations and to promote post conflict peacebuilding and reconciliation, in collaboration with the United Nations.

Dr. Perera expressed his appreciation to the Permanent Representatives for their close co-operation and goodwill during his tenure in office and requested them to continue to support Sri Lanka.
