UNOCI Rule of Law reaching the four corners of Côte d’Ivoire
In the middle of last December, a Court House and a legal clinic were formally opened by the Government, the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (ONUCI) and civil society organizations in Guiglo. The renovated Guiglo Court, which started accepting cases in June 2013, has treated more than 130 civil cases and 250 criminal cases in the last six months. Finally, people living in this region can find judicial recourse without travelling the 105 km to the nearest Court in Man.
